Were you riding downhill at the time? A very steep one? If your 650GS managed that speed, I think I need a new bike...

It actually shows the max speed as 299 mph, since switching back to metric for Mexico it reads 481 kmh... Not sure why it is like that, but I thought it was pretty good for an 11 year old F650GS with only 50hp.

Correct me if I am wrong, but that says m/h, not Mi/h... that's not that fast.
