Alex, Lola and the Great Divide Ride

I met Alex Pearsal back around 2005. We both had Ducati-centric blogs, shared a few mutual freinds, a passion for Ducatis and bad habit of smoking around flammable liquids.

Although the old rebel packet blog's had a facelift, the Duc's been replaced with a BMW GS and a Ural outfit, Alex still smokes and shares his adventures with style and wit.

Last July Alex kicked-off the Great Divide Ride - a 19 day journey with an 11 year old Rottweiler riding shotgun in the Ural sidecar all the way from from Banff, Canada to Altelope Wells, Mexico and chronicled the trip on his blog.
