Troy Kinnaman memorial ride.

Pullman, United States

This is the second year my wife and I have participated in the Troy Kinnaman Memorial Ride. The ride starts in Walla Walla, WA and follows the route Troys ashes took to Clarkston, WA. We stop in the middle of the ride at Dodge Junction where Troy was hit and killed by a truck that failed to see Troy and pulled out in front of him.

This year due to road construction the ride stopped at Dodge junction where we took a group photo, had a moment of silence and watched Troy’s wife Nikita, place a wreath at the place where Troy was killed. For my wife and I the journey started on Friday afternoon in Pullman, WA and weaved our way through the scenic Palouse of Washington making our way 197 miles to Pasco, WA, where we stayed the night at my wife’s dad’s place. We woke up early the next day grabbed some coffee and a bite to eat at a nearby place before making our way to Walla Walla, WA where we met up to do the memorial ride. After the memorial ride a small group of us rode back through the Palouse and then back down to Lewiston, Idaho’s Hell’s Canyon Harley Davidson where we had a late lunch (I guess they were doing some Veteran’s appreciation day to help sell more bikes lol) after that we headed back home to Pullman, WA via the Lewiston old spiral Hwy. We traveled a total of over 420 miles for the two day trip, and it was incredible!
