Great Lakes Tour: Day Nine

Since we ended up in Kokomo and not South Bend we decided to scrap South Bend altogether. We opted for a ride to Cincinnati so we could visit the Hippos at the Zoo. Stacy is a huge fan of hippos and Fiona is one of the only baby hippos in the US. After the zoo we rode up to Canal Fulton Ohio to visit my mom and grandparents for the night. We ended the day with 400.4 miles. The last 100 were ridden in the pouring rain.

@TimHuber we plan out about 90% of the stops first. After that I plan a route that suits those stops. Sometimes we add things or remove things as we go. We didn’t plan on going to the zoo but the ride the day before was cut short due to weather so we changed plans and went farther south. I find that having a good plan but being willing to change on the fly works best for us.

Quite the diverse array of stops. Zyons, did you plan all your stops ahead of time, or are you just stopping at cool places you see along the way, or is it a mix of both? What else do you have planned?
