The Domain of Killien Loop

Distance: 292.7 Km / 182.4 Mi Duration: 05:52:37

Here's a nice little loop I like to run when I'm up in the Haliburton Area. For the most part, this is back-road and quiet. It's also quite breathtaking in the fall.

Depending on what time of day you are out, a short detour to Bobcaygeon, or stopping in Bancroft will give you nice places to stop.

While the 507 is perhaps the best known stretch to Ontario bikers, I personally prefer highway 3 that leads to it as it is far quieter and has more altititude change.

Either way, it's about 300km and approximate 4-5 hours of pure Ontario riding fun. Couple it with a stay at the domain of Killien and it's a great weekend!
