Now the Cars are Trying to Lean in Corners - Mercedes new suspension system

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Say Mercedes Benz and I picture the kind of car my friend's parents would drive. Safe, luxurious and generally just a little bit staid.

A new innovation however promises to make them a little bit more "fun" according to their press release.

From 2015, the active suspension in the S-class vehicles will "tilt" the car in curves. It's not so much aimed at performance however as fun. If nothing else, it'll stop you sliding sideways a little bit.

Personally, it sounds about as exciting as a trip on the bus.

Still, I suppose if you're in the market for a car, and have that kind of money lying around, it might be slightly more fun than the average cage.
