US-33 Harrisonburg, Virginia to Seneca Rocks, West Virginia

US Route 33, although a bit unknown, is certainly one of the greatest roads in the country as it's been compared to the Tail of the Dragon by those who have ridden it, for its twists and turns, amazing switchbacks and blind corners all over the road.

This motorcycle route starts at Harrisonburg, Virginia and goes westbound through the Shenandoah Valley to Seneca Rocks, offering amazing mountain passes, scenic overviews and turns with elevation changes that will challenge your skills. This ride is great for cruisers but even better for sport bike riders.

Traffic on Route 33 is often light on traffic but it's better to ride in the early morning. Don't recommend riding this route in the rain as it can be dangerous due to rocks and dirt washing up on the roadway!
