The GNCC AmPro Yamaha off-road motorcycle racing team shot at 1000 frames/per second

GNCC (Grand National Cross Country) racers come from across the U.S. and around the world to compete in a series of 13-round, off-road motorcycle races. Each cross-country race is a gruelling, 3-hour cross-country journey. The terrain is hills, woods, mud, dirt, rocks and motocross sections, so it's both a test of survival and speed.

Basically the GNCC pros are the best of the best off-road motorbike riders. You can find the racer profiles here: http://www.gnccracing.com/pages/gncc-racer-profiles

The series started in 1979, and now includes a bunch of classes: XC1 and XC2 Pro Bike Class, Women's Bike Class, XC1 Pro ATV Class, XC2 ProAm ATV Class, Women's ATV Class, and GNCC Legends.

The teams include: KTM, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda and Husqvarna. The pros compete for $3 million in prizes, it's like the Indy 500 of off-road racing. Here's a video of the GNCC Pros from the AmPro Yamaha Team at 1000fps shot beautifuly by Brent Buntyn.

Next season, it's decided, I'm trying dirt - that is if I can find a KTM that's small enough.
