The 2012 Ducati 1199 Panigale walk about with Steve Hicks

The 1199 Panigale is Ducati's 2012 version of the new superbike. Feast your eyes on one of the most powerful bikes on the road!

This particular bike is a pre-producction model that just arrived in Toronto from Bologna, in northern Italy, only a few days ago.

The 1199 Panigale S superbike as seen at the Toronto Motorcycle show is not a new generation but rather a completely new platform. The motorcycle doesn't have a frame and it books about 200 horse power, which, I'm told, should be enough for anyone who can handle it.

These bikes are not yet on the road. In terms of costs, the base version, without the 3 set electronic suspension, will be priced at $20,000. The S version at $24,500. The S with ABS at $25,500. The tricoulore will come in at $30,000 - yoew baby that's a lot of extra for the tricoulore.
