The Spiral Hwy as its name conveys is packed with spirals in only 10 miles and rises and drops over 2000 feet in elevation. It was built up/down Lewiston Hill in 1917 and take 64 turns and many switchbacks to traverse the 2000 feet of elevation change.

Starting at the junction with Highway 95, the ride goes southbound along the twisty Old Lewiston Grade and finds its end where the Spiral and Highway 128 meet. The Spiral used to be part of US-95 and was replaced in the late 70's by a much straighter road; today the route is still in great condition and gets very little use. This short and technical motorcycle route is certainly one of the best rides in the area. The Old Spiral Highway is great mix of breathtaking vistas, sweepers, hairpins and insane twisties.
