An Italian made motorcycle, the Aprilia RS250 was produced from 1994-2004. It has a modified Suzuki RGV250 Engine with a liquid cooled, 2 stroke 249 cc motor prepared by Rotax, an Austrian engine manufacturer. It has a top speed of 137 mph (220 km/h) Aprilia has won many races with their 250cc bikes.
The RS250 is a racer first and a roadster second. Though it does have pillion pegs, don't even think about trying to carry a pillion - it's painfully uncomfortable for both. With a rider and pillion the bike is very unbalanced. The RS250 is ideally is a bike to put in the garage and stay there except for track days. It is a motorcycle to be ogled at for its craftsmanship and is the finest example of two stroke engines.
