Ducati Hypermotard 848 Spied Again

Another photo has surfaced of the Ducati Hypermotard 848 along with some details of the pricing and product range.

Hell for Leather reports from their source in France that the first liquid cooled, 4 valve Ducati Hypermotard will make 120bhp and sell in Europe for €12,000, more or less what the current air-cooled machine goes for.

The engine is likely to be near identical save for exhaust packaging to the power plant in the Streetfighter 848 which should give the hooligans' Ducati even more thrust to play with and let the Hypermotard catch up to the performance of machines like the Aprilia Dorsoduro.

As might be expected there will be multiple models ranging from the base option to a touring oriented version said to have hard luggage and an SP model with electronically adjustable Ohlins suspension.

The new machine should be officially revealed at he EICMA show in Milan this November.
