EICMA 2014: Who Says Dancers and Motorcycles Don't Go Together?

Milan, Lombardy, Italy

Ducati unveiled its new for 2015 models with cultural flourish at EICMA this year: a little powerpoint, a little modern dance and some updated bikes with more horsepower and more electronic bells in whistles.

As expected the 2015 Multistrada was unveiled carrying a newly minted 160 hp Testastretta DVT in its frame. Also, of note for the adventure tourer is more user-friendly electronics interface via a redesigned left handlebar switchgear and easier to read display, as well as the addition (finally) of cruise control.

The Multistrada has received a face lift for 2015. Not sure it works though.

Accessing the Multi's many settings is now easier due to a new controller on the left say Ducati engineers. Cruise control is beside it.

The main event of the evening was the debut of the Pannigale 1299, which Alex has already written about. What he didn't mention though is the So You Think You Can Dance-type introduction preceding it. Experience it yourself in the video below.

I've never been a fan of interpretive dance, so it made for some strange viewing at last night's press conference. still, it was a more dynamic show than last year and the Scramblers looked nice
