@mrgoodhammer - I'm surprised Triumph still haven't put the 800cc engine from the Tiger into a "mini" Sprint, which is what they did with the 1200cc engine in the Tiger Explorer to make the current Sprint.

IMHO, it would give the VFR a huge run for it's money.

@alex Yeah, not sure if Triumph will keep producing the Sprint or not. I think they took all the 2011's leftover at the factory, and tweaked them a bit for a 2013 model release. It seems the demographic I exist in is very narrow, and the Sprint doesn't sell as well as Triumph would have liked. So they've abandoned the Sport/Touring market all together in favor of the full on touring genre. Hence the Trophy SE. Hard to compete against the Honda VFR I suppose. Let's see how they do against the Goldwing, FJ, and Concours.

This has been the perfect bike for me. I've been very impressed with the 1050 engine. This Sprint replaced a CBR 929RR that had some speed mods on the engine. Both bikes will get to the same "HOLY CRAP" speed in roughly the same time, but the Sprint makes you wonder how it snuck up on you like that. It is definitely a beast in gentleman's clothing. I would like to get a more diverse Triumph experience, but I'll be content with my Sprint until the opportunity arises.

Last of the 1050 Sprint's, right? That is a great engine and though I had the Tiger variant, it did make a brilliant touring bike.
