The BMW R7 is a German made prototype. It was designed in 1934 and had a 750 cc overhead valve engine. This futuristic bike was ahead of its time and was never produced; being hidden away in a crate for 70 years. In 2005 a two year restoration took place at BMW with the expertise in the hands of in house master restorers.
The restored bike now tours the world in motorcycle shows and museums. It recently showed up at the Pebble Beach Concours d' Elegance show in August 2012. Here the R7 one the Pebble Beach Best in Class award. This one of kind beauty is not for sale, but it were to go to auction; expect it to be somewhere near priceless.
