Over Brutus, the SUV of motorcycles

It's a motorcycle, it's a quad, it's a snowmobile, it's the Over Brutus. Billed as the SUV of motorcycles, this strange machine is being billed as a new genre for the powersports market. The Brutus rolls on giant Maxxis Bighorn tires and is powered by a single cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC, four-valve 750cc displacement motor.

Created by Alessandro Tartarini, son of Italjet founder Leopoldo Tartarini, the Brutus debuted to crowds at the 2012 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan.

The weight of this behemoth of a bike is unknown for now. Rumors have it that it's around 220 kg (485 lbs), which would put it on par with most 1000cc adventure tourers. The Over Brutus is scheduled to arrive on the market by the spring of 2013, prices have yet to be announced.
