The 200 from Missoula, Mt to Great Falls, Mt is a surprise of a motorcycle road! The roads here are enveloped by the Montana mountains with forests and meadows.

Just don’t take 200 East of Great Falls as it becomes quite straight and super boring! The back roads and trails of the Gandy Dancer out of Bruno MN and through Danbury WI were sweet, simple, fun.

While you’re here, about 30 miles southwest of the city of Great Falls, you’ll find the Adel Mountains Volcanic Field (also known as the Adel Mountains, Adel Volcanics, and Adel Mountain Volcanics). This is an ancient volcanic field of heavily eroded 75-million-year-old igneous rocks about 40 miles long and 20 miles wide (800 square miles, or 2,071 square kilometers). Because of its geologic structure, the Adel Mountains has drawn the attention of geologists for more than 100 years.
