At the Eastern terminus of the Mohawk Trail you'll arrive in Greenfield
The town was originally settled by the Pocumtuck Indians, but they were wiped out by the Mohawk Indians in 1664. However many Native American artefacts are still found in the area dated between 7,000 to 9,000 years BC. The English colonized here in 1686.
The Mohawk trail is considered to be New England's best scenic road and as a result, the state's best motorcycle road. Plenty of Native American history to please the historical buff and plenty of attractions to please the photography buff. Most importantly plenty of twisties and even a hairpin to please the motorcycle rider. Enjoy the Ride. EatSleepRIDE.
