I am shopping for another motorcyle.

I am motorcycle shopping or perhaps I should say motorcycle hunting. Oh well, the semantics are irrelevant, the point is; I am going to get another motorcycle!

I want to add an old school 750cc to the stable and don't really care about the brand. It doesn't have to be a gem, just something in fairly decent condition that I can play around with and ride about town.

On Wednesday, my friend Jerry and I drove to Tike's Cycle Shop, a small shop about an hour west of Springfield, to check out a 1978 Suzuki gs750, and a 1981 and 1982 Suzuki gs650. They sold the 750 on Tuesday, the 1981 was in worse condition than I had anticipated, and the 1982 although nice, was more money than I am willing to spend on a third motorcycle.

It was a good day despite walking away empty handed; I smoked cigars, hung out with Jerry, talked motorcycles, and had lunch at Buffalo Jacks, a little tavern that had some pretty good fish and coleslaw!
