Coal

Yamaha Virago (1983) - Black California, United States of America

I bought the "Cold Beast" which I named Coal as my first bike in 2007. It was a great bike to be learning on. The previous owner had already dropped it, scratched it and dinged it so I had no concerns about causing any more damage to it. I put 8000 crazy fun miles on this little bike then sold it for another new rider to learn on. And YES, I love Pink! I do have other riding gear, but it seems my favorite pictures with Coal all show me wearing my Pink Icon jacket.

Although I no longer own this bike, I kept the stock seat and just put new vinyl on it. I have to say the bum would get tired after 350 miles and the knees would get stiff since I had no highway pegs on it. But it was a great little bike! Goat Rock is on of my favorite stops when we take our Tour Customers on the Pacific Coast Hwy. in CA. I'm looking forward to our next visit there in June 2013.

Coal looks like she's served you well. Goat Rock Beach CA looks beautiful. Did you change the seat or does she have the factory seat? How does your bottom feel after a few thousand miles?!
