Luxury Car Designer Camel Creates Electric Supersport Motorcycle - BOLD

Camel, one of Italy’s more famous design studios has created a concept electric motorcycle capable of charging 80% of its battery in just 30 minutes. Talk about efficient!

BOLD? Why yes, yes it is.

The bike was created by some of the younger designers at Camel in conjunction with Tacita (a company which created an electric dirt bike). Named “BOLD,” the motorcycle uses a BMW frame along with Brembo brakes and upside-down forks. A unique aspect of this bike that is not found in many other electric motorcycles is the five-speed transmission which allows for “the best gear ratio for every situation.”

The BOLD is capable of 100hp and can deliver an incredible 115 ft-lb of torque. It’s rumored that the bike is capable of going 0 to 60mph in 2.9 seconds. The only downside to this kind of power is that the bike is only capable of 60 miles (100km) worth of riding before it has to be recharged.
