First day down
Stonington, United States
Hit the gold coast in Conn and looked at some seriously expensive mansions. Took a private Mark Twain house tour. Finished up the day in Mystic. Ate some pizza and ice cream. Nav system rerouted me through the heart of NYC on our way to Conn. Not fun for my first time driving through the city. Ended up with 300 miles and almost 8 hours in the saddle.

I didn't go thru the heart of Seattle ...so my trip was pretty flat too. Just intense traffic even in non rush hour. So I can appreciate how miserable that would have been trying to get thru. And on our trip we rarely used the voice nav ...but the few times we did, we were incessantly rerouted >:-/ ...You can imagine the Bluetooth convos ..."Are you sure this is right?" ..."Gotta be, nav says so" ..."This really doesn't look right!" ..."Aw, it rerouted us!" Lol

@roxenmoxengirl ive been to Seattle albeit not on a bike. With everything built on a hill that ends in the sound is think the terrain would be hard to deal with. At least nyc is pretty flat.
