Cannon Beach
scenic/reststop 163 East Gower Avenue, Cannon Beach, Oregon, United States
Cannon Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Oregon Coast. The main attraction at Cannon Beach is the pacific ocean (obviously), a massive rock come bird sanctuary called Haystack Rock and a quaint town.
From Seatle you can reach Cannon Beach in approximately 4 hours heading South. Take US-30 from Kelso-Longview. Take the Aberdeen exit by Olympia and then follow Montesano exits. Eventually you'll go through small towns such as Raymond, South Bend, Naselle, then to Astori and make your way to Cannon Beach.
From Portland, Cannon Beach is about 2 hours West along the I-26.
There is parking on E Gower Ave that provides easy beach access very near Haystack Rock. Tucked in the back of the town you'll find public parking and public bathrooms as well as RV parking.
