HRA Ride to Glacier Park, Day 2 (Salmon ID to Kalispell MT)

Day two of out trip. Stopped for coffee in Hamilton ID at a little Shop called "Big Creek Coffee Rosters" had some good java and spoke to a local rider (we'll call him Dave). He heard our route plans and gave us some pointers. Willing to learn for his experiences, we headed up the 93 to the "Iron Horse Bar & Grill" in Missoula MT. Food was great nice staff and good facilities. Figured Dave steered us right on one topic so we followed a second piece of his advice. We continued up the 93 and headed left to the west route around flathead lake. That route was scenic with several scenic turn outs to stop and take pictures at. Although you may want to put them in your GPS before hand. We passed most of them to quickly to stop safety with a pack of 12 bikes. Leaving flathead lake we quickly found ourselves at our hotel in Kalispell. We stayed at the outlaw convention center. Decent rooms with a small continental breakfast. City brewing coffee was just across the parking lot as was gas and food. Short walk to Cattleman's bar for some pool. "Pool" reminds me about a suggestion I have for you. I'm quite sure the swiming pool is haunted at the outlaw convention center. Feel free to see for yourself. But if that sort of thing bothers you, feel free to come up with a more manly excuse for another hotel. Try "this other hotel is closer to shopping for you, honey."
