So today , August 20, I did about a 75 mile loop passing through Novato and winding my way on the beautiful and, yes, lightly travelled Chileno Valley road, with vistas and twists galore to Tomales bay. Scarlet wanted to stop for oysters, but I would have none of that, opting instead for a rest stop overlooking the bay. The sky still showing the pinkish hue from the Clear Lake fire smoke as well as the cooling fog overcast .
