Littleton to Deckers and back home loop.

I took the first 'long' distance ride on the SV1000 yesterday to get in some zen and acclimate myself to the VTwin. I'm not sure if I missed a turn off of 67 or if I was just not seeing the change in pavement on the maps originally, but there is a stretch of about two to three miles that is unpaved and definitely not made for a street bike. Just to make sure you're awake and not riding the front brake, at one point it was a downhill 15% grade. 😳 I made it through without any problems but going the other way would not have been possible as I don't think the tires would have done anything but spin on the way up that hill. The weather was awesome and until I connected with 285 traffic was at a minimum for a holiday weekend.

So take notes and double check the maps!!!
