Come ride with us is a long-standing Honda tradition. In the Toroto area, you've likely seen similar events run during CSBK at Mosport.
Come ride with us
The ride event is characterised by a row of shiny new motorcycles, ready to ride. The premise is simple. As long as you have your license, you walk up, pick a time slot and a motorcycle.
The bikes
You then get a half hour group ride that gives you some idea of how the bike rides.
It's very much like speed dating. It's not long enough to know you're in love, but you'll easily make it to first base and maybe second. Some of these bikes have certainly been around...
That's not to say they're dirty. Far from it. These machines, while clearly ridden, look showroom fresh.
The best thing about the event is that you're actively encouraged to ride more than one bike. That's something everyone should do. If you really want a cruiser, at least try a naked bike too, or a sportbike. Otherwise, you'll never know what you're missing.
If there's a criticism, it's that not every bike is here. Unfortunately there's no CBR600RR or Fireblade for example. Â If you do make it out to ride event, be there early. For obvious reasons the bikes book up quickly.
Even if you're not in the market for a new motorcycle, it's always a good idea to ride as many bikes as you can - and this a great way to do it.
