Yamaha Y125 Moegi Concept Bike

Introduced as a concept bike in 2011 with not a lot of news since, the Yamaha Y125 Moegi Concept Bike is a very cool idea for a few reasons. Although it would probably be classified as some sort of scooter or bicycle with an engine, it's actually modelled after Yamaha's first motorcycle from 1955, the YA-1, which gives it a really cool retro look. The main reason for the concept however, is fuel efficiency. The Yamaha Y125 Moegi is powered by a 125cc four-stroke engine with a 10 to 15 horsepower range and a top speed in the ballpark of 75 mph. It reportedly weighs 176 pounds and gets 80 km/l or 188 mpg. This would no doubt be a great ride for casual city motorists.

Have to agree. This is a beautiful piece of engineering, though I'm not sure who it would actively appeal to - it's not a scooter, and it's not quite a motorcycle.

The simplicity is beautiful, also would make a good city bike.
