Motorsport Exotica in Los Angeles

MechanicRepairShow 1056 N Ridgewood Pl, Los Angeles, United States

Need a precision shop for Japanese or European bikes in LA? Tucked away in a side street you'll find Motorsport Exotica run by a thee under-thirty, passionate bikers. Owner Jarred Fixler, and mechanics Sean Kelly and Nate Hardian specialize in Japanese marques, Italian, German, and British bikes. "We work on everything except cruisers. They just take up too much space." Says Kelly.

"We ride and race. We love what we do and we bring our passion into our work. We don't want to turn into a dealership, we just want to provide the best tech at a price everyone can afford. At $90 per hour we're the cheapest in town."

The welcoming and pristine shop has an in-house Dyno. On Dyno Days anyone can come in and run their bike on the Dyno for quick diagnostics. They custom fab pipes and do repairs.

It made me happy to see that BMW on a cinder block. I sometimes question if I should be taking a more professional route when working on bikes but it appears the use of cinderblocks is pretty standard. Also it's great to know this shop exists. Will definitely check them out.
