Help. High revs on triumph Daytona when it's sitting idle and even when am riding stopped at lights. Any ideas what the problem is

Thanks for the ideas guys. It's like when u leave the choke on on some bikes and its revving at a constant tone. Al give your ideas a try and post the results. Thanks 🙂

Clogged injector, timing, or maybe the fact that it's not a carburetor 😉 (carburetors rock btw)

What do you consider "high"? Mine (an 06) used to idle anywhere between 1000 and 1500 rpm, which I was told was normal. Depending on the year, it might be as simple as a sticky throttle cable, but I think the newer ones are ride by wire.
