ASMC Bathurst Run

Left Bundanoon at first light and took the freeways to make Krispy Kreme starting point for ASMC ride stands-up at 9am. After a quick cuppa, headed off over the Blue Mountains with a quick stop at the Lolly Bug shop at Little Hartley for a snack. Then it was on to Bathurst where we had a quick stop in town to pick up our last ride member (Bear from Wagga) and then it was off to Mount Panorama for the obligatory lap round the mountain. Back to Bathurst town centre for a lovely burger at the Royal Society Cafe. After saying our goodbyes I headed towards Goulburn but became quite lost after taking a wrong turn. After what seemed like an eternity on gravel roads, a kind farmer on a trail bike pointed me in the right direction. After some more gravel logging truck roads I finally returned to civilised bitumen roads. Hammered down through to Goulburn for fuel and warm meal then home. Just over 620km today! I wonder if I have earned the 600km Hard Arsed Riders Challenge? Overall a great day and it was wonderful to meet Jonno, Steveo, Alfy, Rocket and Bear from the ASMC. 👍
