Hocking Hills Loop
Distance: 178.9 Km / 111.5 Mi Duration: 02:42:08
Central Ohio may not seem like the most ideal place to ride a motorcycle, appearing mostly flat with a lot of straight highways. But if you can get off the main highways and ride down the small country roads, you'll experience some of the best riding the United States has to offer.
We started our route in Pickerington, OH, at a Bob Evans restaurant. Then headed south to Circleville.
From there, we took State Route 56 east to South Bloomingville.
The route at this point was filled with wide sweeping curves with views of farm lands.
Then we beared north to Logan, OH via State Route 664 which runs through the Hocking Hills region of Ohio. The route becomes more twisty here and more overgrown with tall shady trees and creek beds that follow the road.
Once in the City of Logan, visit Millstone BBQ for lunch. Millstone BBQ is one of Central Ohio's most popular biker hangouts, smoking up some of the best BBQ ribs you'll ever have.
From there, we cut through town and took State Route 93 north, then north along Route 668 into the town of Somerset. From there, we looped back towards Pickerington via Highway 256.
