Do you use a tank bag?

I'm always looking at how I can improve my two-wheeled mule (FZ6) for longer road trips, and I'm curious as to whether other riders make heavy use of a tank bag, what type, etc. I currently have a Givi E45NJ top case and E21 side cases.

Stopped using tank bag since I got an RC51. But I used it lots on my TL1000R and my '84 900 Ninja. Fantastic bag from Gears. Huge. Wife and I went for a trip to wine country in Ontario. Between the Gears tank bag and Rapid Transit soft saddle bags we hauled home nine bottles of wine along with our two-days worth of clothes.

You already sound like you have a lot of luggage anyway, so I'm curious what else you need to take. I used to use a tank bag on my various machines, but recently I've stopped. Partly, that's due to the oddly profiled tank on my Tiger1200, but it's also down to the fact I don't like it. Nowadays, if I need extra room beyond my hard cases, I pack a drybag and bungie it to the rear seat as I'd rather have the weight on the rear wheel than the front. For the "day to day" stuff, I put that in the topbox.

I have used several different tank bags. Usually the biggest one I can. I am always asked how I see over it. But they have never been an issue. I put stuff I want very easy access too My old rain suit was in there. But my new one doesn't fit Rain gloves. Hat. Camera. Glasses. Maps.
