Now that I have several season under my belt, it's time to upgrade. I purchased a 2000 CBR F4 in early 2011 as a new rider. My reasoning was because I was new to the sport, I might drop it and I would feel less guilty about dropping a used $3K bike and a brand new $13K bike. I am happy to report that the CBR has stayed up on 2 wheels while in my posession!!! Now it will be a beginner bike for some other new rider or maybe even a track bike for some lucky individual.

I am a little sad to see my CBR F4 go since it was my first bike but it was time to upgrade!! It is the wrong season to purchase a new bike (end of October in Southern Ontario) but I am going to try and get a couple of rides in before the snow flies and I have to tuck him in for the winter!!! March can't come soon enough!

@kman @devon heated vests are great but heated gloves are a better investment. If your hands are cold, the ride is not pleasurable. Best money I ever spent!!!!!!

@Kman @mitsy agreed, a heated vest is a great investment!

Oh upgrade time always feels so good! I feel your joy. In Ontario, with a heated vest, you can get right to the end of November. Ride on.
