Why I Ride - Passion at Work

Why I Ride by Matt Work: 'Motorcycling is obviously, ihnernetly much more dangerous than driving in a car. But, philosophically we're only here for a certain amount of time and you can't live in fear. People say to me "Aren't you afraid to die?" and I say, well, "Are you afraid to live?" that's how I couch this thing, this dangerous hobby. It's like we're only here for a while and we are the sum of our experiences so it all tends to blur together if you don't punctuate it with adventure.'

Matt Work is co-founder of pistonandchain.com, a community garage in San Francisco (1285 Folsom St @ 9th San Francisco, CA 94103)

Enjoy the ride.

There is this old American Indian saying: "it is a good day to die" when taken in context it actually means the opposite, as in I probably won't die today but if I do I can live with that πŸ˜‰ for me, i'm not afraid to die, I just don't want to suffer first πŸ˜‰

Amen. You can't live in fear but roads should be safe for us.
