A good ride is Skyline drive and Blueridge parkway. I road both a few years ago.

Wolfman and SW Motech make good soft weather proof luggage. Much cheaper than hard luggage.

if you are coming south, ride the blueridge mountains. A lot of great roads.

I plan on going to Florida in May from NH would like to hit DC Myrtle Beach Virginia Beach and Atlanta on the way down
