Previewing the 2014 Las Vegas Auctions of Classic Motorcycles, Jan 9 - 11, 2014

The Las Vegas Antique Motorcycle Auction & Races is one of the most anticipated antique motorcycle events of the year, gathering gearhead- aficionados and lovers of two-wheeled art from around the world.

The 23rd edition of the Antique Motorcycle Auction will be held at the South Point Hotel and Resort (South Point Casino and Exhibit Hall), at 9777 Las Vegas Blvd S., Las Vegas, Nevada, Thursday, Friday, Saturday January 9th to 11th, 2014.

The highlight of the auction includes the Silverman Museum Racing comprised of the best Ducati racing machines in existence.

Sharing the stage are 50-plus motorcycles from the extensive Wayne Pierce family museum collection including first-year Harley-Davidson Sportster believed to be the 10th XL883 produced in 1957, a 1933 Harley VLE police bike that saw actual duty on the streets of Chicago before being cast in the 1987 Kevin Costner gangster movie, "The Untouchables," and an authentic and unrestored 1947 Harley Knucklehead with period aftermarket accessories.
