Powhatan’s Trail

I present to you, the best motorcycle route in all off Tidewater. It’s an out and back style route and this is the full credit version with the same start/finish points. It’s a gorgeous rural road thru forests and fields. The pavement is great, traffic is usually light and there are just enough gas stations for even the thirstiest of bikes. If you are trying to get here from the south side there is a $1 toll at the York river bridge. Also, during hunting season and when the farmers are plowing the fields, the road can get a bit dirty from all the off-road traffic. I share this route on one condition- if you’re a slower rider or group, please move to the right to let the faster riders by, you don’t own the road, we share it.
