My first Bike EVER! Got this bike with 3,700 miles on it and got it for a ridiculously good price. I have gone through the maintenance chart and have completed everything so that I can have a “Brand New” Motorcycle. I just finished all the maintenance with a spark plug replacement. I love working on and riding this bike. This 2013 Kawasaki Ninja EX 650 is soo much fun, I have to give it a biased 5 stars as a first bike. Had I bought a 200cc-300cc/400cc bike I would already be sick of it and looking for more power. But, since I bought this bike I have really leaned A LOT about bikes (especially mine)and realize that buying this bike was a great decision. Anyways, enough bragging about my bike, lol! It’s good to be here everyone! I look forward to sharing information and stories with you all. One first question I have is, since I changed the air filter to a K&N performance air filter would the Dynojet Power Commander do anything to make my bike perform better. I am also looking at other mods that are “worth it,” so any suggestions would be gratefully received. I know that there is a consensus that I should just save the money and buy a newer/bigger/faster bike. However, I am a med student and I do work a LOT so I just want this bike to be “my style,” and then later; when I start practicing, I will get an upgraded bike. For now, I just want to make this one special for me. Sorry to babble on, hope to hear from you soon!
