Distance: 106.0 Km / 66.0 Mi Duration: 01:31:09

Haliburton and the Haliburton Highlands are located in Central Ontario, well known as a tourist and cottage area for its scenery (perfect for outdoor activities) and cultural life. Some roads can get a twisty, but mostly you're in for big sweeps. Watch for cops on Hwy 35 especially on weekends.

This scenic and rural loop condenses all the beauty in the area in about 140 km (87 miles). From Moore Falls follow Deep Bay Road or Hwy 2 north for some of our favourite twisties. At Furnace Falls County Rd 503, you'll find the park surrounding the area a good place for a rest stop. On the road to Minden you'll pass by a few restaurants and a gas station. When you arrive get some ice cream and fries the Minden River Cone (119 Bobcaygeon Rd, Minden, Ontario K0M2K0, open Summer only) and walk the 2.5 km circuitous walk that runs along the Gull River which houses the Agnes Jamieson Gallery and the Minden Hills Museum.
