Harley-Davidson Introduces 2023 CVO Street Glide and Road Glide

Harley-Davidson teased the release of its new CVO models and now it's a reality with the mid-season introduction of the CVO Street Glide and Road Glide.

These machines feature advanced tech, more comfort, and increased performance.

For the first time the CVO Street Glide and Road Glide get selectable ride modes. You can choose from Road, Sport, and Rain. These modes controls specific settings for power delivery, engine braking, Cornering-Antilock Braking System (C-ABS) and Cornering-Traction Control System (C-TCS) settings.

One of the other notable improvements is the fact that both of these bikes are lighter, with the Street Glide boasting a 31-pound decrease in dry weight while the Road Glide is 35 pounds lighter.

Showa suspension front and rear provides a supple ride with rear travel increased by 50 per cent. Braking is provided by premium Brembo components.

The powerful Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 engine has optimized liquid-cooled heads as part of a new cooling system, variable valve timing and performance exhaust.

A large 12.3-inch TFT colour touch screen gives riders all the information and control that they need. It's customizable with three distinct views and is compatible with Apple and Android devices. If you like to rock out while you're rolling down the highway the Rockford Fosgate Stage II four-speaker audio system powered by a new 500-watt amp has got you covered.

The designs are evolutions of familiar Harley shapes with fairings that feature improved venting, lighting, and turn signals. The six-gallon tank is new as are the Combo Cast laced wheels. Each model will be offered in two highly detailed finish options.

Although the bikes are now fully introduced to the public you'll have to wait just a little while longer to get your hands on one. They will make a U.S. public debut in Milwaukee during the Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival, July 13-16, 2023. Both models will reach Harley showrooms world-wide in mid-July.
