Canadian Vintage Show and Swap Meet - Paris, ON

Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada

The event is held Father's Day Weekend (2nd weekend in June) and is a bit of a mecca of Vintage bike restorers and clubs.

Don't count on finding a part for anything newer than late 80's. But if you have old Harley, Norton, Nimbus, BSA or the like - and don't mind rust - this is the event for you.

I am probably preaching to the choir - if you are in Ontario and you have a vintage ride, you know about the event.

Noel and I met up with Alex and Marina, but it was late in the afternoon by the time we arrived, so we didn't have time to really immerse ourselves.

But here are some pics anyway...

We spent the most time at the VRRA (Vintage Road Racing Association) booth where not only are rarities restored, they are also raced. Check out their site and make a plan to catch a race - it's sure to be entertaining!

The best part about the CMVG? Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The amount of knowledge and passion crammed into that one square kilometer or so is huge. It just makes me lust after an old Commando even more now
