From Mexican Hat to Bryce Canyon National Park, via SR-95 and Scenic Byway 12

The ride from Mexican Hat to Bryce Canyon is a sweet mixture of nice switchbacks and fantastic scenery covered with imposing trees, canyons and red rocks characteristic of Utah’s high country.

This motorcycle route goes from east to west starting at Mexican Hat, a small town located in south-central San Juan County, and will take you through the breathtaking scenery of the Bryce Canyon National Park, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.

From Mexican Hat, take SR-261 north and continue onto SR-95 (also known as Bicentennial Highway) towards Capitol Reef National Park; from there, head south along Utah's Scenic Byway 12 towards Bryce Canyon National Park, where you'll find the end of the motorcycle route.
