Ducati Salutes Famous Engine with the Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition

Sunnyvale, CA, USA

Ducati is continuing its assault on the wallets of motorcycle collectors with the upcoming release of its latest limited edition machine - the Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition. Ducati bills this motorcycle as "a tribute to the most sophisticated Ducati twin-cylinder engine."

Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition

This Panigale V2 comes in a numbered series of 555 bikes and closes the book on the Superquadro twin-cylinder engine.

The Superquadro twin-cylinder engine has powered such notable Ducati bikes 748, 749, 848, 899 and 959, up to the current Panigale V2. The engine can retire as a champion having allowed Nicolò Bulega to win the Supersport world title in 2023 and also being ridden to MotoAmerica Supersport championships in 2022 and 2023.

The Superquadro V2 displaces 955 cc and produces 155 hp at 10,750 rpm and torque of 76.7 lb-ft at 9,000 rpm.

Engine reproduced on the fairing

Ducati's tribute to this revolutionary engine takes the form of a collector's bike cloaked in the Superquadro Tribute livery, created by Drudi Performance and the Ducati Style Centre, with the characteristic colours of white, red, black, and grey.

Stylish seat

The shield's curve on the upper half of the cowl aligns with the bike's shape, and the number plate underneath follows its outline. The Superquadro engine is displayed on the sides of the fairing, showcasing its exact position. The tank's dark and cold tone, the matt grey, accentuates the contrast with the fairing colours, giving the bike a modern character. The livery is completed with the saddle embellished with sporty, yet elegant embroidery style.

The technical features of the Panigale V2, using a monocoque chassis include Öhlins suspension and steering damper. The Rizoma footpegs are adjustable and made from billet aluminum. The front and rear mudguards, silencer end, chain guard, clutch cover, swingarm cover, and shock absorber cover are in carbon fibre. Additional features of the single-seated Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition include a lithium-ion battery and sports grips. The animation of the dashboard at key-on and the contact key is unique to this model.

Ohlins components

If you want to take this bike out on the track - and who wouldn't? - a special removal kit is included with the purchase so that you can take off the licence plate and mirrors and fit a billet aluminum racing fuel cap. You also get a GPS module for gathering your lap data.

The Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition comes with a certificate of authenticity, a personalized motorcycle cover, as well as a machined triple clamp with the model number.

Don't worry, you haven't missed it yet. The Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition won't be available in US dealerships until December for $28,000. Take a look at the video below.
