17th Annual Barber Vintage Festival Coming Up

They say that, "everything old is new again."
They're wrong.
Everything old is still old, but that doesn't mean it isn't really cool and desirable.

If you agree with this pronouncement take out your leather-bound journal and your fountain pen and mark the dates of October 7 to 9 there with stars beside them, or you can put an alert into your smartphone, your choice.

However you make note of it, those are the days of the 17th annual Barber Vintage Festival presented by BMW Motorrad at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, AL. The location is a gearhead's paradise and you can order tickets for the festival here. The motorsports park features entertainment, education and creation housing the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum, a 2.38-mile, 17-turn professional racetrack, the Barber Proving Grounds and the Porsche Track Experience.

There will be all the usual things that make a motorycle event great and don't forget the Wall of Death! Anything with a name like that would be worth the price of admission in itself. 

The museum houses the world’s largest collections of motorcycles, Lotus racecars and the Barber Advanced Design Center. It is dedicated to the preservation, interpretation, exhibition and history of motorcycles, vintage vehicles and motorsports.

This year's Grand Marshal is AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer and motocross pioneer Brian Slark. He will be honoured at the Motorcycles by Moonlight event October 7, 2022. You can get tickets for that here.
