The 83rd Sturgis Motorcyle Rally is mere weeks away and promises to be another incredible experience with events as diverse as a motorcycle show, tattoo contest, 5K run, beard and moustache contest, group rides, and Military Appreciation Day, just to name a few. Of course there are vendors, great concerts, and plenty of food and drink.

It's an event that draws thousands upon thousands of bikers to the small city in the Black Hills each year.
The rally officially begins with the opening ceremony parade on Friday, August 4 at 3 p.m. with Laura Klock as Grand Marshal. She is president and founder of the South Dakota non-profit Helping With Horsepower.
It's the 83rd Sturgis rally.
