Recently unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Show, KTM may shift gears and release electric scooters. The KTM -E Speed Concept is a 140 kg (308.6 lb), 15 horsepower, light steel framed scooter with Li-ion battery packs. The E-SPeed has a top speed of 80 km/h (49.7 mph) and takes around two hours for a full charge, going 64km before needing a recharge. The concept has regenerative braking as expected and ABS is standard.
