Carbon River Run

Finally got some time to go out and explore on the CBR. My sister's fiancé came along as he has been inching to get out on the cruiser he recently inherited.

Neither of us are from the area so I looked up posted routes on ESR and Motorcycleleroads.com and found this one. It was a nice easy route, not much traffic with well maintained roadways. Enumclaw and Buckley provide a variety of amenities. We stopped for a stretch at the Enumclaw QFC on the way out and had lunch at Wally's Drive In in Buckley on the way back. If you are looking for a good burger in the area, I would highly recommend checking it out. Service was excellent as well. I think we may make it a regular stop when we ride though the area.

Not much for scenery or photo opportunities, and the Carbon River Ranger Station itself does not have amenities that we could see, but a very nice relaxing ride though Pacific NW greenery.
