Chattahoochee National Forest Ride Via Georgia State Route 60

The route along State Route 60 features some of the best twisties in North Georgia. This motorcycle route takes you through the scenic beauty of the Chattahoochee National Forest, offering nice views of rivers, mountains and valleys, while you enjoy the tight curves of Route 60.

Start your ride in McCaysville, located in in Fannin County, and go south east on Georgia State Route 60; you’ll be riding through the Chattahoochee National Forest—it owes its name to the Chattahoochee River, whose headwaters begin in the North Georgia mountains. Continue onto State Route 60 until you reach State Route 9 in Porter Springs, where you’ll find the end of the route.
