Col de Turini, 34 hairpins in 24km, France
Distance: 39.9 Km / 24.8 Mi Duration: 01:08:50
This spectacular French road is certainly one of the best motorcycle routes in Europe. This steep mountain pass features one hairpin after the other, and while it's shown on the map as D2566 fans know it as Col de Turini.

Col de Turini links Sospel and La Bollene Vésubie in the French Alpes-Maritimes. Every January, this same road sees cars blast through it in the Monte Carlo Rally and it also hosts the Tour de France in 1948, 1950 and 1975 and remains incredibly popular with cyclists. Open year round, this stretch of road peaks at 1,607m.

Took this route a couple of days ago, although I had to use a car because my Monster was back in Norway. The views are spectacular, and when you think there can't possibly be more hairpins left, you meet a dozen more. Absolutely amazing!! But be careful. The tarmac could have been better, and there is a loot of loose rocks that might end up in your path around the next bend.
